Content Advisory
INTO THE WOODS has been assigned a rating of PG-13 by Music Theatre International. The musical focuses on the original Brothers Grimm versions of the stories which tend to be “darker” and less “happy ending” focused. There is some material in Act 2 that might frighten very young children, including loud noises, and brief moments of violence, and some deaths as the characters face the villain. Production elements include the use of neon lights that sometimes flash, dim, and change color but are on for the duration of the performance.
