It’s all in the act! Spring Shorts is a festival of one-act plays that will make you laugh, make you cry, and make you think. Seven shorts will be performed over 6 days in two programs (A and B). Get tickets for two days, or take in a double feature on a Saturday, to see them all! 

Directed by CSUCI faculty, alumni, and current students, these one-acts are written by award-winning playwrights and performed by the talented students of the Spring 2025 Production and Advanced Production courses (PA/ART 191/391), presented by the CSUCI Theatre and Performance Studies program and Instructionally Related Activities.

Appropriate for ages: 16+

Running Time for each program: Approximately 75 minutes

Ticket prices:  

  • CI students: FREE (Dolphin ID required)
    • Students with reservations will have priority seating. Seating is limited. Please make a reservation in advance.
  • Other Students: $5 (Student ID & School name required)
  • Faculty and Staff (Campus ID required), Seniors (Age required), Military: $15 (Military email required)
  • General Public: $20  

Performed in the Malibu Hall Theatre on the CSUCI campus.

Campus parking permits are required and available for $6 at the kiosk in front of Public Safety.
